History

The Cairo International Stadium is the first of its kind with Olympic standards in the Middle East and Africa. It is located in the Nasr City area of ​​northeast Cairo. It was designed by the German architect Werner Mars, the same architect who designed the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, 1936, completed in 1960 and inaugurated by the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser at the July Revolution celebrations of the same year. IFA officials announced the dates of the World Championship for U-18 Volleyball Championships, which will be held from Sept. 5 to 14. The matches of our team came as follows: Egypt x Puerto Rico .. Thursday 5 September Egypt x Brazil .. Friday 6 September Egypt x China .. Sunday 8 September Egypt x Cameroon Monday, September 9. Egypt came in Group A with four teams, Brazil, China, Cameroon and Puerto Rico. While the second group included "Italy - America - South Korea - Canada - Mexico". The third group came as "Russia - Argentina - Belarus - Thailand - Romania". The fourth group included Turkey, Japan, Peru, Bulgaria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
