History

The Cairo International Stadium is the first of its kind with Olympic standards in the Middle East and Africa. It is located in the Nasr City area of ​​northeast Cairo. It was designed by the German architect Werner Mars, the same architect who designed the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, 1936, completed in 1960 and inaugurated by the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser at the July Revolution celebrations of the same year. The Cairo Stadium Indoor Hall Complex will host the World Karate League Championship for Adults (Premier League), in Hall 1 of Cairo Stadium, during the period from April 19 to 21. Approximately 385 players, male and female, representing 59 countries around the world, will participate in the Premier League Cairo 2024 tournament. - The Egyptian Karate Federation participates with 26 male and female players from the champions of our national team.
